What We Do
For prospective applicants to Penn, Caius's goal is to shed light on the application process by having current Penn students share their personal experiences and advice. For example, an important concern that applicants frequently have is how they should approach the Personal Statement essay. The Penn students all have ample experience and strategies in writing the essays, and would gladly share their insights. Of course, the Personal Statement is just one of the many topics that applicants may have questions about. Other topics include Early Decision, financial aid, and SAT scores. We are certain that listening to the application experiences of Penn students will inspire a clearer image of an what would otherwise be a long and perhaps mysterious process.
Caius also offers its service to students who have already been accepted to Penn. The paperwork to be filled and the decisions to be made after admission can be just as overwhelming as the Common Application. Important questions that many students will want to have answered include: What are the differences between the residential programs? How should I pick my courses? What is work-study and am I eligible for it? Caius's goals is to help incoming students make the most of their first year. We strongly believe that in giving these students the inside scoop, their transition to college life can be as smooth as possible.
